Tabriz, in north west Iran, is one of the oldest and most technically precise weaving centres in the country. Its workshops are known for high knot counts, curvilinear medallion designs and a palette that runs from soft pastels through to deep indigo. Every piece here is hand knotted and one of a kind, so sizes, colours and ages vary as stock changes.
