Tabriz Persian Carpet Green Pink

Tabriz, in north west Iran, is one of the oldest and most technically precise weaving centres in the country. Its carpets are densely knotted and usually built around a central medallion with fine floral detail. This example runs in Green and Pink. An original period piece rather than a reproduction.
