Zelig Desk Lamp

The Zelig desk lamp was designed by Walter Monici for Lumina. The lamp consists of two single arms and a counterweight, in total harmony with mobility and perfect balance. While researching for alternative innovative functions previously deemed impossible to achieve, an original idea was patented by Walter Monici, based on the continuous connection between the upper arm of the lamp and the counterweight on the other extremity of the first arm in concert with two pulleys and a steel cable. The result is a total and incredible mobility which allows Zelig to move from a closed position requiring the same space of the base, to a completely open position with more than one-meter scope.
