Murano – Mazzega –13 White glass tube

Cylindrical glass tubes, blown individually and mounted in rows on a frame. It is the most architectural of the Murano sconce forms and the one that sits most easily in a modern room.

This pair carries 13 tubes per sconce. Opaque white glass diffuses the light rather than letting it through, so the fitting glows instead of glaring. Mazzega is among the best documented Murano houses of the period, which matters: most vintage Murano on the market carries no maker at all. Sold as a pair and in our Al Quoz showroom in Dubai, where you can see how the glass behaves in real light before you decide.
