Murano chandelier space age – 57 Blue alabaster iridescent glasses

Handmade in Italy from genuine Murano glass, this chandelier features 57 alabaster-toned iridescent prisms that reflect light with subtle depth and elegance. A refined nod to the Space Age era, it combines Venetian craftsmanship with a sculptural, modern presence — making it a standout piece for any interior.

Space age is the right description. Iridescent alabastro glass, a surface treatment that shifts between pearl and oil slick depending on where the light falls, and a silhouette that belongs firmly to the late 1960s and 1970s. This one carries 57 iridescent elements. Blue glass against a pale wall is the most graphic of these and the least forgiving to place badly. In our Al Quoz showroom in Dubai, where you can see how the glass behaves in real light before you decide.
