Timeless, bold, and as compelling today as the day it was created, the Experiment Chair was designed by celebrated Finnish designer Yrjö Kukkapuro in 1982. The chair is an icon of eighties design. It demonstrates all the ergonomic qualities and extraordinary structural detail Kukkapuro is famed for. And, importantly, it embodies a fearless postmodern aesthetic that hasn't lost any of its impact. In the Experiment Chair, Kukkapuro sought to add art to Functionalism, to satisfy romantic tastes alongside meeting essential needs.
