Marcel Breuer's Wassily and Cesca chairs in period Gavina and Knoll production. Breuer designed the Wassily at the Bauhaus in the mid 1920s, the first chair built from bent tubular steel, and the cantilevered Cesca followed in 1928 with a hand woven cane seat. Gavina put both into production in Italy and gave them the names they are known by today. Shown in our Al Quoz showroom.
